He's just paving the way for his usual negative approach.Mourinho already stating that we don’t have injuries. It’s only vvd that’s injure from our first team.
ive seen this mentioned a few times that most of our injuries are squad players and our first team isn’t really affected.
thing is, that may be true. But the point is that because squad players like Matip/Gomez, milner, Shaq, Thiago, ox, keita, Jota are injured, we either a) can’t rotate the team therefor risking injuries/tiredness to the first team.
or we rotate and end up playing kids which dramatically reduces the quality of the team and squad.
Lot of people don’t seem to put those things together and just say, well you’re only missing 1 first team player... those same people probably then say we klopp doesn’t rotate his team so if players get injured it’s his fault. Who is he meant to rotate with exactly?!
On here, as in life generally, people tend to fall into the optimist or pessimist camp - it's just how we are.
The same doomsters will have been saying the same things before the games with City, Leicester, Wolves etc. Occasionally they'll be right, then a bit of confirmation bias creeps in - the "called it" mentality. We're all prone to giving greater weight to the times we get it right than to those when we're wrong.
Some are just more fearful before the event than others- I've long since given up on expecting the world to do what I want it to do so I'm generally hopeful, when it comes to football at least.
The one thing that does irritate me a bit is the excessive (imo) criticism thrown at the team when they're not quite on top of their game. We're all disappointed, but I don't get why some take it as a personal affront.
I find the criticism somewhat over the top, yes I'm pissed off, yes I'm angry, but I'm also not a teenage boy anymore, prone to stamping my feet and shouting its not fair.
In the current situation I'm absolutely thrilled that the teams still battling away, still getting results.
I except that the injuries we've got, the fatigue and the sheer amount of games will have an impact, we can't press for 90 minutes, we can't go hell for leather, we won't control games like we can usually.
The youngsters have come in and done fantastic, considering the circumstances, we are joint top of the league, at times we still show we are the best in the league. All done with out our two cb are main dm and a front line that looks knackered.
I'm still a happy boy.
I agree credit should be given to the team for keeping us competitive. It is frustrating when players like Mane and Bobby, who are usually such live wires in the team, seem to not be playing as they usually do, but with the amount of games we have had and the fact they have played most of the 90 minutes plus in each game they are bound to be tired.
The amount of games played would not affect a keeper, but for outfield players it takes its toll.
I still think Spurs will murder us on the break if we stick with playing a high line.
but would he start over Curtis Jones is the questionNaby might be fit to start against Spurs, he will obviously then miss the next 3 games!

He also compared our injury list to his at Spurs, which according to him includes two kids in the U16s, two in the U21s, a back up player no one has heard of and Lamela who is their only first team player out injured.Mourinho already stating that we don’t have injuries. Yeh that made me laugh, couple injuries to his under 16s ffsHe also compared our injury list to his at Spurs, which according to him includes two kids in the U16s, two in the U21s, a back up player no one has heard of and Lamela who is their only first team player out injured.
Its the biggest bullshit I've ever seen.

He must be worried then.Yeh that made me laugh, couple injuries to his under 16s ffs
Same old **** from him it's nothing new![]()
Hell do what he does with every team he brings to ours, shut up shop and hope for a goal on the break. He must be worried then.

I know **** all but it wouldn't surprise me if he does what he did against city or something similar in terms of springing a surprise and playing with four up top to throw them off and grab an early goal or two before reverting back to a more normal formation, it nearly came off against city tbhYep the world and his dog knows what to expect from Spurs tomorrow, and what worries me is that our injury crisis leaves us with no obvious plan B if his tactics work.
First goal, if it does come, will be massive.
