We will be without any centre backs. Think Tottenham will have a field day

They'll be without their attackers [HASHTAG]#mourinho[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#anfield[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#parkedbus[/HASHTAG]

This.

Not looking forward to this at all.

Spurs win for me can't see any other result with our back line and ever growing injury list

Klopp says Matip will probably be OK for Spurs, is it a bluff, was he taken off as a precaution, is the injury less serious than originally thought?
Lets hope it that then.

Heard it was his back during the game

I’ll take a draw now.

it definitely won’t be scoreless with our makeshift CBs against Kane and song. Let’s hope that Jose will as usual for him go for a draw away to a rival.

No Matip, no win. Injuries have decimated our team and playing style. Whoever plays CB has no pace so we have to defend much deeper and as a result, our play is totally disconnected. We are usually much more compact and play much higher. We do that against Spurs and Son will be in behind every 5 minutes, we play deep and Kane will have a field day. It will be our dilemma for the rest of the season....unless we sign a fast and good CB in January....there’s not many around mind!

Back to the game, I still hope that Jose doesn’t get too excited and still parks the bus...if they come at us, I’m afraid our home record is toast.

Mourinho is a creature of ingrained habit, so I doubt he'll change for this game. However, his life's ambition to turn every footballer into a defender doesn't work with them all, and unfortunately he's got a few who like to score goals.

His MO will be for Kane or Song to score a goal and then defend it for the rest of the match. He’s done that most of his career and that is his system. I can’t see him changing when he’s at the top of the league. A draw keeps him there.

We cannot play a high line as they will pierce it and Son and / or Kane won't waste the chances . If Matip can't play Phillips or R Williams please rather than Hendo or some other random shoehorned in .

Interestingly enough as the top of the league is congested and City a bit behind the draw will suit both teams. While we are worried about our centre backs coping with Kane and Song, they will be worried about our world class trio. They have let in equalising and crucial goals late in matches too.

The more we think about it the more it looks like a draw. A win will of course be fantastic but a point and still be at the top will suit.

Our ‘world class trio’ look anything but that without the midfield pressing and the defenders playing high so that the game is compact. Our lack of pace at the back is the biggest issue that we have but given that this is Maureen, I tend to agree, he’d be happy with a 0-0 and that’s probably the favourite result!
