    Am I dreaming?

It feels like we are having 2 completely different conversations.

Tell me then, Ossie, why Yeadon is wrong about the pcr test?

Tell me why his information about natural, obtained and cross immunity are wrong?

Tell me why his interpretation of total, all cause mortality is wrong?

Please do answer those questions, I genuinely want to know why Yeadon is wrong. I am more than happy to hold my hands up and say I got it wrong, but I do want his evidence to be challenged and defeated with better evidence.

Please specifically break down his arguments with whatever it is you know.

    Cheers

Same for you, Yorkie. Please tell me why he’s wrong. Specifically please.

I'm afraid Woody I have no knowledge of Yeadon apart from you mentioning him seemingly in your every post, and from what you write I have no wish to, I have no interest in such fantasy island. I have seen and read enough about this virus globally, to know that any claims it is a global conspiracy, hoax, fake news and is anyway finished are total and utter bollox, and not worth wasting time with. Get real mate, all this fantasy spread works only against containment of the virus.

Suffer from allergies? Maybe this vaccine isn't for you..

Covid-19 vaccine: Allergy warning over new jab

Two nurses have had to have treatment after suffering reactions to the vaccine - both have history of allergies

It is for these people that the rest of us need to be vaccinated

Should this have been picked up during the trials?

Not usually, they wouldn’t recruit people with severe allergies (both these two routinely carry an epi pen), but usually, for a vaccine, there would be much longer trials and they would collect data on allergies, kids, different age and ethnic groups etc. One of the dodgy things about medicines labelling is the ‘don’t take this if you are allergic to any of the ingredients’ warning. How the **** are you meant to know?

Given that no one on the trials had a similar reaction (which sounded relatively mild and short lived) this would be one to be reported under ‘adverse events’ as discussed earlier in this thread. If these events prove to be alarmingly common then the regulator can issue warnings or pull the product.

I agree with Ossie 100%. I have too much to do working 10 hours a day to read every theory at great length on every topic under the Sun including Butt Huber's Great Reset Theory, the worldwide Jewish conspiracy the 'my election has been stolen' garbage by that loser in the United States and his suggestion that all we need to do is quaff some bleach to defeat the 'Chinese virus'. Not to mention the various theories that the anti-vaxxers spew forth endlessly People are dying and will continue to do so.

While undoubtedly mistakes are made by the politicians in government in this country and around the world I am happy to accept that they are doing their best and that mainstream scientists broadly support their stance with soundly based scientific advice and empirical data. And finally, my son works in the field. I don't need to read what Yeadon says, I ask him because he is well read on the subject. If he told me Yeadon was right and everybody else was wrong I would accept that. But he didn't.

Engage away in your debate with whoever is willing to do so and then tell me this. Are you going to refuse to be vaccinated when it is offered to you?

I’ll probably decline as opposed to refuse. If I’m pinned down, then I’ll be a little less polite. There are various reasons for this.

Fair enough, and thanks for your reply, but Yeadon isn’t suggesting a global conspiracy, he is using his life’s work and understanding of immunity and the efficacy of the industrial scale PCR testing to tell us things are not right. He is answering ‘what’, rather than ‘why’.

    No worries.

To be fair to Woody, I don't think he's saying any of that.

Cheers Col. I’m not, but I’ll leave it alone now (for a day or two), as I’ve said many times, the scientific views should be debated, which they’re not, but first, we have to acknowledge that there is a debate to be had, then demand the debate.

London, which Dr Yeadon says has reached ‘herd immunity’ is likely to be put up into tier 3 because it’s the only part of the country where the number of cases are still rising, especially in East London. Presumably that’s because all the tests are unreliable.
