I heard a retired doctor on LBC this morning saying that if he was offered the current vaccine right now, he would decline it. His reason was that he has already had the virus and he said that this vaccine hadn't been tested on anyone that already had antibodies. Does anyone know if this is correct? He sounded very plausible.
What was the doctor’s specialty? It is hugely unlikely that it would do you any harm, and pretty likely that it would boost your future protection, but because of the speed of development of these vaccines we don’t have all the answers yet.

I was trying to do some work, so wasn't really listening too closely, but I think he was a GP.
I suspect that quite a few people on the trials might have had the virus but asymptomatically. I wonder if Beth’s daughter had an antibody test when she went on the trial? That’s the only way to tell, I guess.

People have flu, but get the flu jab a few months later.

My wife is edging toward the same opinion - as she has been badly affected by Long Covid she's no idea what the vaccine could do to her immune system.

I listened to a clip off BBC today, from a Doctor who treated seriously Covid sick people in hospital somewhere and hadn't had a day off since Covid came, something like 260 days ago. He just wanted a weekend off to sleep. Asked what he thought of people who thought it was a big hoax, or was done/finished or some such b******, he wanted to give them a good slapping, and suggested they come onto his ward and take a look.

Thinking a bit more about this, I don’t think anyone is yet in a position to give you definitive guidance on this, unfortunately.

I don’t believe for a minute that the mystery doctor hasn’t had a day off in 260 days, typical BBC propaganda ****. Hospitals have never been over run, and are no more busy now than is usual for this time of year.

There is a pretty big difference between people thinking it’s a hoax and an eminently qualified scientist using evidence, statistics and applying a lifetime of learning to conclude that the story being told is problematic.

It would be better to debate with Yeadon rather than threaten him with a good slapping. Maybe that’s it, resort to violence or abuse when you cannot win the argument.

Yes she had an antibody test before her first shot
She forgot to ask about it when she went for a second shot...!!!

She was actually quite ill in March, I always wondered if she Covid then. I will know eventually I am sure.

Yeh sure the Doctor was fake, his patient pleading to see his wife was made of paper, his ward was theatre, the 1.5 million plus dead in the World of this virus were never really born, the 8 thousand who died across the globe yesterday are part of a conspiracy, and the near 68 million infected across almost every Country in the World are all hypocondriacs getting fake positive tests.

Come now Ossie. For some reason sceptics accept as gospel what some people say. How do you tell the difference between a charlatan and someone like Yeadon? Because the latter is accorded the acknowledgment that he is an eminently qualified scientist. So there you have it. It's proof that the sceptics are right.
