In the 13 seasons (1994/95 to 2006/07) before Ashley’s arrival, Newcastle played in Europe in 11 of those 13 seasons. The only exceptions being 1995/96 and 2000/01.

Are you counting Newcastle finishing 14th and qualifying for the Intertoto because everyone above you turned it down as Europe?

Fans were better in 74 mind... 100s of thousands greeted the losing players of the coaches, but now even if we win we complain about the style of play..

I think that's not just us though I think fans in general along with game have gone downhill
