Has ben arfa made that impact from his hospital bed you absolute lunatic!!!

an impact is making a difference for your season you git numb nut.. he has played 4 times scored 1 goal and lets face it, it does not matter if it is a screamer or it comes off your knee (Gyan style) it is still only one goal. We shall see who has the bigger impact out of the signings at the end of the season.

so scoring the winner against Everton and what a goal it was is not making an impact

Sure it was but getting his leg broken in two places also made an impact (or rather the impact result in his broken leg bah-dum-tish)

Tiote also made an impact against Arsenal last week - his first and only senior goal to date (he doesn't pratice shooting 'cos according to Pardew "he can't shoot") but he also made an impact by getting sent off against Stevenage.

Swings and round-a-bouts, sunshine.

Also, you forgot to reply to dickmalonespecial's post.

i really cant understand where people are coming from with ben arfa the boy is talented, could be class but he has litterally played 4 games how can you say he has made a bigger impact than say welbeck who has scored a few and played 20 games that is surely more of an impact

you could then say every player that scores makes an impact.. you baffoon.. does that mean onouha is now the best player in the north east because he scored against chelsea. You really are simple

1) who was the last side to win the league?
Newcastle in 2010, Sunderland did it in 2007. This is of course the Championship I'm talking about, the last time either club won the top flight a young Adolf Hitler was a rising star in politics. Newcastle have been the closest to winning it post-war, most recently back-to-back runners up finishes in 96 and 97.

2) who was the last side to win the f.a. cup?
Sunderland in 1973, Newcastle last did it in 1955. Sunderland have won the trophy twice (finalists four times), Newcastle six times (finalists thirteen times). Newcastle were last in the final 1999, Sunderland 1992.

3) who was the last side to win anything?
Newcastle. Championship 2010, Teresa Herrera Trophy 2010, UEFA Intertoto Cup 2006. Sunderland won the Championship in 2005 and 2007.
