Quilmes is the No.1 beer in Argentina

Which is why it's weird the Gaucho Grill doesn't have it

Argentina was a popular place for Germans shy in the public eye following WW2

I never got into wine, partly because I find the whole temperature/tannins thing a hassle that's getting in the way of my booze, but mainly because spending three years in Sheffield as a student means that when somebody suggests opening a bottle of wine my immediate reaction is to run away screaming as I'm expecting yet another bottle of Australian chardonnay

They've moved there for quite some time before that, too. That bloke went out there in the 1850s.
It's not just Nazis doing a runner! <laugh>

There's a lot of Welsh in Argentina too

So that explains the beer and the rugby, now can somebody explain the diet that consists of steak with a side order of steak?

Let me just check with my physiotherapist to see if it's physically possible for somebody to stand upright with their right foot further to their left than their left shoulder...

Is that the Salah goal that was chalked off? Nice of them to obscure the defender's foot entirely! <laugh>

I like Italian reds - I particularly like Chianti and Valpolicella

The contact on Welbeck was more violent than the contact on Salah against the Scammers, when the Egyptian threw himself flying through the air to con a penalty. I am not one for gifting out penalties under minimum contact such as these, but what goes around comes around here.

Kicking an opponent is one of the offences that is punished by a penalty. There is no mention of how hard the kick has to be.

With 9 games played to date, Citeh are only 5 pts behind Spurs.

Given the PL halfway point this season is going to come
mid january, IMHO we are quite some way from knowing
who the top 3 is then (one of whom will be champions come May) .

Which also messes up the old "Team who tops the league on Boxing Day will be champions" nugget the pundits trot out every season

I use the halfway point (which is usually Jan 1 give or take
a few games for week 19 that are still to be played) , as the
stattery for the fate of the PL top 4 at that moment is compelling.
