Just watched the replay on sky... it deflected off an arm... missed by the ref.

got the win we deserved, but did it the QPR way

Comfortably mid-table now, 10 points from last 5 games. Keep it up...

Can't play for 90 minutes. Either start well and fade or start slow and have an outstanding 2 Nd half.

But 17 points now...and there are 3 worse teams than us.

    Happy tonight

We’ve had our share of games where we haven’t gained the points we deserve. Today, it seemed, we held on to get all the points.
Feels we didn’t play the smart way and control all of the game as we should. Is this a leadership issue? Communication issue?
Ahhh ... wtf. We got all the points. Let’s do the same on Friday now (please).

Great, the 3-2 win against the mighty Rotherham:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile Well, it was really more than i expected...we always seem to blew these kind of matches.
Didnt saw a minute of the match, but what i have read about it that was a match with two different halves.
Good for Warburton. Always seems that he has losed it, then he come back with few good wins. Midtable safety here we come:emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0165-muscl

Our downfall recently seems to be that none of the players seem to be aware of which of them should be closing down players. There are many moments where everyone seems to stand off the opposing player in possession, as if waiting for someone else to close him down.

Great to have 4 points from these two games and had Dykes been a fraction of a second better with his timing, it would have been 6.

Hate to say this but Masterson has cost two goals in consecutive games with air kicks. I think the rest of his play does make up for it but if he could iron that out of his performance it would be very good.

I'm looking forward to what I hope will be a decent performance against Bees on Friday.

I thought it was Willock with the air shot last night?

It was Willock with the airshot clearance. We have to be much calmer in defence mode.
It is a very annoying Rangers habit of letting teams back in when the game is in the bag. I feel Warburton was to blame for that last evening. We had a good shape and were in control but bringing Bonne on for Willock was definitely not a like for like move. After the substitutions we looked to have completely lost our shape and style, we handed control over to the opposition.
Thank God we had a good ref last night who can spot a handball when he sees one and also a crafty dive! I would take issue with him though for a totally over the top barge on a defenceless keeper. That should have been a yellow which would have meant the perpetrator couldnt have committed an absolutely cynical foul a few minutes later.
A couple of massive positives for us is that we at last have a keeper worthy of the jersey and also the Chair doubters may have to start eating some humble pie, from my armchair he looks like a player who is improving and growing in confidence with every game.

Bonne was terrible but the sub made sense in theory. Willock presumably can’t play full games yet especially with another on Friday and Bonne was meant to be there to close down and hassle them. In the end he just got caught offside 37 times.

On the highlights what's everyone's opinion of the clearance off the line from BOS that ricochets onto the post, I still can't work out what part of the arm/shoulder/chest it hit but to fly off in the direction it did suggests it was his arm, but nobody appealed and BOS was left holding his head in disbelief that he didn't score........

This might go some way to explaining why we were so poor in defensive challenges in the air in the 2nd half. BUT... we struggle with this regardless in most games when the opposition wins a lot of corners or starts using a long ball game. I think Dickie helps with this a lot but we are still left with the undeniable fact that this Achilles heel of defensive organisation is still waiting for a solution after 18 months of Warburton.

I thought at the time that it was a deliberate elbow, but I am not sure and they didn't show a replay.
