Shouldn’t think he has to lower himself to go to menial places like car showrooms - imagine he gets big cars “gifted” to him by thankful donors (who then mysteriously get government contracts)

I would have thought any business associating themselves with the MP for Wokingham would put their livelihood at risk, as he isn't exactly a face that.the consumer wants to be associated with.

This is the same John Redwood who recently announced that we would soon have control of British fish, and presumeably where they swim. Is he Aquaman?

All this jingoistic gobbing off about fish when a large proportion of English quotas are already in foreign hands. https://www.bbc.com/news/52420116
"Any foreign fishing companies that purchased UK quota in good faith would be very likely to sue if this was now taken away from them."

This shouldn’t be allowed, especially with predictions of prices rising after Brexit.

You couldn’t make this up. £29 million for a “Festival of Brexit”.
Money that could be used for better purposes, being used to pander to the nationalists in this country, in a show of faux patriotism. No truly patriotic party could willingly inflict so much damage on a country as the Tories are doing with the Brexit their MPs created, starting with Cameron not having the spine to tell the right of his party to go away, through the likes of Johnson, Gove, Mogg and Patel who drove it through with their lies.

Am I correct in thinking that a large % of Uk owned rights are owned by a few very rich families?

I read somewhere that the whole of Northern Ireland’s rights are owned by 3 families.

I remember reading this some time ago, an article from 2018 by Greenpeace which gives the figures at the time. What I posted above about Northern Ireland isn’t quite right, in fact the reality is even worse, with half the entire quota held by a single trawler.

I was in Wales when he was appointed Welsh Secretary and all my in-laws cried " Where on earth is Wokingham". They weren't very impressed.

Reece James is another young footballer helping out with charitable work.
He has been working with The Felix Project, in London, for 18 months, trying to feed the poor.
He is close to reaching his target fundraising figure of £100.000.
    Fair play.

And still the hostile environment, against Windrush immigrants and associated family, rumbles on. The EHRC has now found that the government’s implementation of the hostile environment was against the law. That it has broken the law, I am sure it will get the same media coverage as the EHRC report on Labour and anti semitism.
