He started and played about an hour for the U23s today in a 3-4 loss to Palace.

Is this a sign that Parkinsons worrying, and planning on giving him a lifeline, or is he trying to get him fit for another attempt at offloading him in Jan.

Could be either, I hope its the former as we could use him in a more central role behind the a lone striker maybe Grigg or Gooch, he is a maverick but has a lot to offer in the right frame of mind' but I would be surprised if we ever see him again in Parkys first team tbh,
I see Curry and Diamond were on the score sheet but thats all I know about how it went.

We also had a trialist that came on for Mcgeady, and he scored our third.
It looked like a pretty exciting game looking at the score.
We sould have given Sanderson abit of game time, instead of making him sit on the bench week in week out.
It must be painful for him watching Flanagan and McLaughlan playing, knowing they are keeping him out the team.

Saw it was 2-2 when he came off but that’s about it, other than the result

chuffed with that news mate, thank you very much for that, i raised the question of McGeady two weeks ago and was vilified by some posters. From what i understood in the statement he issued, was that he could see certain people were not pulling their weight, and he was being played out of position with wrong team selection, so he raised his issues with the players and manager alike, whom in turn took it as bullying instead of the kick up the arse that it was, and was always intended to be and that he had no animosity to the club, but did not want to sit on the side lines taking money but help fight for promotion. Its good to see Parkasaurus has been made to see the light.

one million times better than Wyke though

He's a winger though so it makes no difference if he's better than Wyke or not, he won't be playing up front. If we had a better striker than Wyke who was sitting in the reserves I'd be all for a return.

Sounds like an exciting game, unlike the crap we have to put up with from Parkys eleven, we have some very promising players coming through, Embleton and Diamond are, or should be playing first team football now imo and Neil, Curry and Younger should also be pressing soon, they have to be good enough for League one action, even coming on for 20 minutes to show us what they can do, if only we had a manager with a bit of vision.

I done a thread about a month or 2 ago aswell mate, and it seems the majority do not want to see him return.
I agree in giving Embleton, Diamond and Neil a chance must be priority over him, but I dont see the point in paying him big wages to train with a load of kids, and sit on his ar$e on a matchday.
We currently have very few players (if any), that could come off the bench and produce abit of magic and score a winning goal.

unfortunately our manager has been wearing welding goggles, couldn't pick a team if it bit him on the arse which is what they will have to to just to get on the bench

Play him in the hole mate, I would suggest this to Roger but I would get a rude boy reply .<laugh>.

agree with your sentiments entirley he knows where the net is and is a good player,Parky has a lot of players in the team playing out of position yet the one position that matters he keeps picking ****e.
