I think that if he wants to investigate then go ahead. But if he was so worried about the ease and popularity of the democratic postal vote, why didn't he try and promote it with republicans? He shot himself in the foot.
And I think he did it as a calculated risk where he weighed up the chances of getting his postal vote up against being able to denounce it as fraud if he lost. He couldn't do both, he had to pick one and he chose the latter.
Wrongly imo. Imagine if he'd got the extra he needed en masse if he'd promoted postal voting.
I think he didn't promote it, because he didn't understand it. I think he probably still don't understand it, but it's gradually dawning on him.
