Sarcasm is fantastic, but often misunderstood for something else. In real life I'm probably one of the most sarcastic of gits you'll meet, but very very seldom done with any malice. The written word on here will never portray the glint of an eye.
Yes, written down it is not the same as badinage in the pub. Some see everything in black and white and don't get that, especially those brought up on conversing on social media.
Yes, but were you happy they won? Were they the better team in every game? Those things matter to some.

all my ancestors born in the last 130 years were born in hull. a hundred years before that, they're coming from all along the m62, including wigan. even the odd scot in there. no doubt there'll be more places when i find out more. documentation, or lack of it, is the problem. i don't know where my zillions of ancestors were born in the cambrian or the jurassic, for examples. nor which football teams they liked.
