Aye, I'm the owner of the biggest thread in rtg history apparently.

We deserve the best. We don't smash our city up, we don't shout at shops, we don't punch horses. We're passionate but only where its needed.
Aye, its strange, sitting here 14th Nov, 2020, with all the **** thats going on in the world....and i can still see your OP as clear as day.
That was some thread mind.

Be a bit hard considering its over 49000 and we've never had that in the SoL, Hull and Cardiff both had above 50k back in the 3rd North/South format as well
Well let’s pack the place out and get behind the lads and the new owners

Did anyone on here read the Roy of the Rovers comic back in the '70s?
There was one strip, 'Millionaire Villa' (warning - haven't looked any of this up, all my own dodgy memory), rich gadgey saves/buys club, but as a condition gets to play centre forward.

22 yr old. . .

Just saying. . .

Could be onto something here.....surely he cannot offer less than our current forward line

This is what the miserable knackers, like Kittens, can't understand mate.

Some of us are clinging on through personal/business/football circumstances and need something to get us through.
What we don't need, from people who may be in a better financial situation, is relentless negativity about our club.
Telling us that there are no negotiations, no chance of a deal and no hope is the last thing we need.

I, and others, have tried to give everyone hope and inject a bit of humour.

The vicious bile we've received, because of that, is frankly pathetic.

But will these people even think, for a second, about apologising ...

... will they f**k <laugh>

Smug, come on, I didn't say this.

First off, I'm really happy that there's a deal in place and with who it may be.
After months of suggesting the opposite, this was my first reaction. <party>

I actually think that it's fair if you want to talk about the WUMs I've seen on here and on RTG who have said ridiculous things - that Daz Parker lad, NQD, Berb, me etc - us lads deserve stick because we've spent the last few months being frankly complete arseholes, and I've been one of them.

I can't stress enough that those people were not all me, and I never truly understood why anyone believed that they were, when I wasn't saying the complete opposite, in another guise, very publicly?

So can we put that to bed please? I have been actually pretty relentlessly positive for a few days about this on RTG, always erring on the side of something happening.

For clarity, I said that I didn't think that the Furhman/FPP takeover would happen, and that in April/May when no football was being played, I was skeptical about Donald's claim that a takeover could be done at that time without clarity about how football would adapt.

I don't think that I'm ever wrong, but I apologise.

Now can we stop all of this? You are getting props for your FPP information and that's fine with me, but when you make out my position to be that I was somehow always anti-takeover, which it obviously was before, or that I didn't think something was happening, it just... I mean I don't understand mate. I'm an SAFC fan like you and over the moon that something is happening that puts these ****s out of control and embarrasses me.

Surely we can just agree about that?

This post has been edited for comedy value and accuracy, 'cos he's already been banned twice.

Sorry I didn't want to make this a thing, but was just emphasising that I have genuinely thought something would happen - one regular here knows I've said that privately and genuinely.
