Brilliant result for Scotland. And great to see David Marshall stick one up the hoops of his City haters!

Marshall wasn't amazing for us, but he was never as bad as a lot of people made out.

He was one in a long line of players who was made into a scapegoat.

I've mentioned it before but our fans seem to need to have one player who always gets the hate not matter what, and Marshall was that for a while.

Because, much like certain club level supporters, I'm not a fan of Scotland. Croatia and Germany can **** off as well.

And my wife is Scottish, so the fact that they weren't going to be there was too good a moment to pass up.

I'm not arsed about England, I'm more bothered about Scotland not getting there but I can't say they haven't earned it, it was a fantastic effort with a pretty crap squad.

As in, I follow the Faroe Islands internationally because of my family. Obviously we're **** and never qualify for anything, beating the likes of Estonia feels like lifting the world cup when a team of fishermen, policemen and an accountant win a game. But, it is what it is.

Fair play to Marshall though, there were a couple of pens he got his hands too and probably should've done better, but he did save when it mattered.

All of Scotland's pens were good.

To be fair, we all accuse footballers at all professional levels of not giving a ****. It was refreshing to see their emotion after the game.
