Trump should concede when the votes are in, congratulate Biden.
I also think that MSM needs to take a look at themselves. I watched the election and switched between CNN/BBC/SKY. All 3 stations were praying for a Biden win. I can see why Trump has a problem with CNN. That was the most one-sided coverage I have ever seen in any election. The bloke on the board should have just worn a democrat 'I hate Trump' top. Sky Couldn't fill their program with enough democrats or people that switched from Trump to Biden (never the other way around.) On the BBC Katty Kay was nearly in tears when they thought Trump would win. Prior to the election twice they were interviewing a Democrat and a Republican... and twice the link was down with the republican so we only heard the views of the Democrat. It's a shame that MSM can't be impartial. It reminded me of the Brexit and Tory election coverage here. It will only turn people away from them.

Yes, it marks them down as biased and other outlets will be created to balance it out, similar to Andrew Neil's new 24 hour news channel in the UK.

I was surprised the BBC let Neil present? especially after he described Biden as 'another democratic loser.'
Trump was waffling last night and should have just kept it short. 'We will wait for the results' is all he should have said. Many future political students will be studying that speech.

That was the gag. Right wingers latching onto a far right white supremacist candidate. We’re really not far behind as much your head is in the sand over the direction your Party has gone for.

mmm unlike your party under Jezza? The most disgusting political behaviour in my life time. Yes Blair was a liar and a war criminal but Jezza's actions were just abhorrent. Seriously Watford you need to stop thinking that Tory voters are right-wing. You embarrass yourself with your past comments on Brexit voters and now it's constant Tory bashing. You are sound like Femi.

We’ve left. We have Brexited. Anyone still demanding more especially in the context of an economy-ravaging pandemic is, for want of a better phrase, a stupid Nationalist ****.

And this Tory Party in particular is by any definition a right wing party. You don’t get EDL leaders pledging their allegiance to your cause if you aren’t. It’s not even a controversial or exaggerated label.

Obviously I’m going to bash them when they’re doing an objectively terrible job of governing.

Interesting comments. We need to discuss Jezza/Labour and the ECHR findings. Still too many apologists out there.
PS and that is not reffing to you as I know how you feel about the findings.

Biden ahead in PA now. It's all over bar the shouting.

Could end up being a very convincing win for Biden by some measures - 4m ahead in the popular vote, and if he holds his lead in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Nevada he'll have a considerable lead in the Electoral College and he'll have picked up States that very rarely vote Democrat like Georgia.

Of course others are right to say that only a few thousand votes going the other way in the right locations might have seen a different outcome, which is the nature of this type of first past the post system. Same with May in the '17 election here - she was only a few thousand votes away (if they'd been in the right place) from a decent majority. Ultimately that's the system - which Trump benefited from hugely in '16 so he can have no complaints now.

All eyes on the Senate run offs in Georgia now. I'm still rooting for a Republican controlled Senate to keep Biden in check.

I think Trump may win Georgia as the votes to be counted are US Military. They always vote high for Republicans

There's definitely a chance of that, and it's going to be close. As I understand it, however, there are a few more districts to be fully counted which are traditionally Democrat supporters and there are *potentially* 8,000 military votes still to arrive. Those votes may not have been cast or may not arrive before the deadline of 5pm tonight. The result might well hinge on the turnout of those 8,000 military votes.

What I'm not clear on is if those 8,000 votes are the totality of the military service personnel from Georgia who were eligible to vote (seems low for that though?) or if the 8,000 figure is just the votes of the total military service personnel which haven't yet arrived. Anyone know?
