I don't think it'll be anything more then the current contract length which still has 3yrs left to run doesn't it? But just a wage rise and maybe on option of a further year like all our deals have these days, with the current situation with covid etc, I just don't see it being longer then 3 years and a pay rise.... I may be wrong but that's my feeling

Was the last count circa 6,000? I can see more being cancelled, simply due to the dire financial situation people may find themselves in with the way the economy is going.
I seem to remember circa 6600? And yes, after the initial cancellations due to various other reasons, there will be more who have 'had' to do it for financial reasons(my young cousin being one of them)...

I can’t blame anyone doing it for financial reasons yourself and your family come first. but if not your club needs you at this time.

I agree entirely. My cousin said it was a very sad day for him,I offered to help him for a few months but he simply wouldn't hear of it...Every club at our level will be shipping money at a vast rate and the longer this situation continues, the more I fear that some will cease to exist:emoticon-0101-sadsm

Whilst not doubting for one second the impact of covid on many peoples finances, Ehabs 'ability' has unfortunately impacted to a much degree I would suggest

Keane's contract expires at the end of the 2021/22 season and I'd be amazed if it's not extended as part of the new deal, I suspect it will at least double from two to four years, with the option of an option taking it to five.

Sensible for the club to protect one of it's few remaining assets, based on recent performances he could well become a player of huge value in years to come. Been impressed by him so far, he's certainly taken his first team chance this season.

Cheers, I wasn't sure on the length but had 3 yrs in my head

Must be difficult running a club of our size if that is true ?

5,000 is actual the average number of season ticket holders in League One, with Sunderland, Ipswich and Portsmouth way ahead of the rest.

It's slightly irrelevant for us at the moment, as our transfer income over the next couple of seasons, is the same as having another 9,000 pass-holders.
