Ah, it wasn't an attack on you. Hope you didn't see it that way. Just find it maddening how quickly people on Twitter who are Republicans etc quickly jump on this and share the life out of it before even bothering to check if it's accurate. Frightening levels of confirmatory bias in play there.
To what end do these people keep making these easily debunked statements? "Trump team falsely declares victory in Pennsylvania Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is falsely declaring victory in the key swing state of Pennsylvania, which remains too close to call." Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien said on a press call, “We are declaring a victory in Pennsylvania.” Fact-check: Trump has not won Pennsylvania as of now, and more than 1 million valid ballots must still be counted in the state. Election analysts have said, based on the results seen so far, that Joe Biden is on track to win the state.
White House correspondents saying that Trump's inner circle are admitting defeat in Michigan and Wisconsin and telling Trump that it's non-sensical to call for a recount or to allege fraud in these states. It's believed Trump is the one calling for recounts but that view is not shared among his chief advisors. The inner circle believe it's Arizona or bust for Trump now, reportedly.
Trump's lead in Georgia cut to 1.2% - we have 6% of votes to be counted in Georgia still and they are predominantly mail-in ballots from Atlanta voters...
You really couldn't make this up. In Michigan Biden is 57000 votes ahead. Jo Jorgensen the Libertarian right wing fruit loop has 58000 votes.
Trump's lead in Pennsylvania is down to 266k votes. There's 1.1m more votes to be counted yet. It's a steep climb for Biden but it's not out of the question... although I would be really surprised.
I wouldn’t be surprised either way. Biden needs to rack up a huge margin in the remaining votes, but we would expect him to rack up a big margin. It’s pretty much 50/50 to me.
Not a bad bet, IMO. I think Biden will win, but it’s not that much of a lock. NV probably goes Biden, PA is tossup, GA is a toss up, NC probably goes Trump. But then you still have AZ as a wild card and Trump probably having an advantage-possibly massive— if it goes the courts. The Supreme Court could easily hand the election to Trump if they choose.
