The young man is doing it again.

Bonko and chums voted against giving less well off children food vouchers during school holidays...

Loads of people and firms are stepping up to provide food etc.

Iirc he also scored for Manure the other night...

I guess he is one Black Life that matters to a lot of hungry children!

I have also read that many fans instead of paying £15 extra to watch their team, are gifting food banks the money instead!

Rashford is showing people exactly how to mount and progress a campaign with dignity and determination ...

... he should be proud of himself.

there is a petition on the go to stop subsidised food and drink for MP's in Westminster, almost 500k signatures in 24 hours.

This is not the full link, but it should be easy enough to find.

The lad is a ****ing credit to the human race, I’m not exaggerating.

At his age to be so aware and to push for all kinds of things like this, he’s an absolute diamond.

Can play a bit as well.

Maybe stop them drinking alcohol whilst at work as well. Frowned on everywhere else, but they think themselves exempt.

An MBE just doesn't seem enough to me. He should be upgraded to at least an OBE.

Marcus is a credit to himself, his family, his club and his country <applause><applause><applause>

These awards are for the many people behind the campaign as the recipient invariably acknowledges.

I, and my family, have done endless work for the Salvation Army and any award makes us feel proud.

I'm sure Rashford feels his work is just a part of a greater effort.

He's a humble lad and that's a quality many people lack imo.

I've never really understood that mind. I mean, I think it's a disgrace that they get such heavily subsidised food and drink, but if it wasn't subsidised would it not just get put through expenses anyway? If they'd actually have to pay it themselves I'd be signing it but I reckon they'd get around it anyway.

Rashford though, what a lad. I love the fact that MPs often demonise footballers, and now one is completely showing them up. He's obviously very passionate about this, and rightly so, and it's great to see the effect he's had on bringing so many people together. I've got a 6 year old who is really into his football now and it's great that there's people like rashford that I can highlight when telling him that people should grow up to think of others no matter how successful they are, he's a genuine role model.
