"The “shadow” is a concept first coined by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung that describes those aspects of the personality that we choose to reject and repress. For one reason or another, we all have parts of ourselves that we don’t like—or that we think society won’t like—so we push those parts down into our unconscious psyches. It is this collection of repressed aspects of our identity that Jung referred to as our shadow self."
Y'all just raging at your own shadows
I'll give an example, we all lie, to varying degrees, even if you dont want to admit it
when people get outraged about Trump lying, they're really raging at the bit of their own personally they deep down, don't like or feel society doesn;t like (we're all taught lying is bad)
This is the same when you rage at anyone for things you do yourself
When you hold people to standards of virtue you dont meet yourself, and get outraged, it's really about you not them.
