This was such low lying political fruit for the Tories considering the billions they're flinging about yet their dogma refused to allow them to capitalise.

I just can't get my head around why people think food banks are wrong. In my mind, they are a positive sign of a society looking out for each other without State interference.


How would you feel if you had to use one to feed your family? Bearing in mind that many of the kids relying on them are from working families.

I'd think something was seriously ****ing wrong if I had to rely on food handouts, in one of the wealthiest economies in the world. In fact if I was that desperate, I'd probably go out and mug some rich Tory **** for his Rolex.
