I agree with parental responsibility, it's ****ed that some people are allowed to spawn loads of kids and not pay for their upkeep. Unfortunately, it happens, and making sure the kids can eat is the least we can do as a civilised nation.

Why are the parents not feeding their children? If you are saying it's because of not having any money then are the parents feeding themselves? If they are then they should be ashamed. If they are not then where are the campaigns for the government to feed the parents?

I just can't get my head around why people think food banks are wrong. In my mind, they are a positive sign of a society looking out for each other without State interference.

It's wrong because if they didn't exist people would be starving.

It’s a failing of a system that needs reviewed ...

people should not need to be fed by societies generosity.

a reliance on food banks in the UK in 2020 is wrong .

The Government: You cannot go to work, stay at home and we will give you 66% of your salary
Normal people in lockdown: We can't survive on that!! The kids will be home from school too, can we get some help?
The Government: STFU it's your fault you're poor and Northern. BREXIT MEANS BREXIT!!1
    The Gammons: *seal clapping*

There are also issues with food banks taking trade from local shops.

I was going to replace 'The Gammons' with 'Sensible Accountant A' but it seemed a bit petty.

Trade they would not get as people are using food banks as they can’t afford to use the local shops ...

They did use them previously. The alternative was travel to the big supermarket chains that undercut the local providers and limit the farm gate price.

If they use neither, they'd have starved already.

The government's stance has also been criticised by Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage, who tweeted: "If the government can subsidise Eat Out to Help Out, not being seen to give poor kids lunch in the school holidays looks mean and is wrong."

You have to realise you're being a **** if Nigel ****ing Farage is calling you out <laugh>

Give up Pud, these mongs will make up any old pish to try to suit their weird angry agenda.

Remember @Diego claiming he kept on seeing Mums with the latest smartphones outside foodbanks while he waited at traffic lights? I mean FFS <laugh>
