he's free for a reason ? , its a chance to take but is it one we need to make

I guess all free agents can be viewed with a degree of suspicion. Is he any good ? Why is he available for nothing, etc., but all transfers come with a degree of doubt, and risk.
Look at some of the dross The Swans paid good money for in recent seasons.
Just because a player doesn't come with a huge price tag, shouldn't necessarily be a reason to dismiss him.

All transfers have an element of keeping one's fingers crossed.

Presumably international clearance will delay these new signings from making an appearance short term.

What a bloody nonsense that is.

Kasey Palmer is delighted to finally be a Swansea City player after sealing a season-long loan from Bristol City.

The move, subject to international clearance, will see the 23-year-old spend the remainder of the 2020-21 season on loan at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City has completed the signing of defender Joel Latibeaudiere from Manchester City, subject to international clearance.

The 20-year-old becomes Swansea’s eighth signing of a busy transfer window, and - provided international clearance is received in time - could make his debut in Saturday’s home meeting with Huddersfield Town at the Liberty Stadium.

Latibeaudiere will wear the number 22 shirt and has put pen to paper on a three-year contract.

Like new Swans team-mates Marc Guehi and Morgan Gibbs-White, Latibeaudiere was part of the England Under-17s’ side that secured World Cup glory in 2017 under Steve Cooper, skippering them in the final victory over Spain.
