That 'foul' on Coady was as much of a penalty as their one.

There’s some strange team selections from Southgate. I just don’t see Calvin-Philips or Declan Rice as worth a start for England at the moment.

    He's brought on Calvert-Lewin.

    As a winger.

With Grealish just sat right there.

    **** him.

Something I've just noticed... Trent Alexander-Arnold has not played at all this break.

We've been playing several RBs in various positions in each game, and we've not even once played our actual best RB.

Gareth probably thinks he 'doesn't fit in the system' or some utter bollocks.

    FT 1-0 Denmark

Another Southgate tactical masterclass, almost Grant McCann-esque in its execution.

Southgate probably praised it on the sideline. It was Pickford, after all.

The only person who gets Gareth Southgate's team selection is Gareth Southgate.

He thinks players like Alexander-Arnold and Grealish don't fit his side yet he plays a ****ing back 5 with 2 defensive midfielders in front of them, and expects them to tear teams up.

Seriously, why the **** has he ditched the 4-3-3 he spent the past 2 years using?

And then, the ****ing subs! What the hell type of person brings on Calvert-Lewin to play left wing when not only has Kane done **** all and need subbing, but also GREALISH. I'm sick of going on about Grealish now, because it's so ****ing obvious he should be playing. There's this bollocks about not being able to play both him and Mount - but you clearly ****ing can!

They're saying Reece James got a red after the whistle. Tops off a great night for England.

True, but Denmark were a bit theatrical at times, James probably just told them so...

One of the journos should ask him his thinking in bringing on DCL to play on the wing when there was Grealish sat right there.

Mental health isn't ****ing hilarious at all, Charon.

I completely agree with her, and Redknapp as well. (I noticed you only mentioned her... hmm)

He's not in a good place mentally, and hasn't been at all since the mess in Greece. The level of drop in his performances clearly show as such, because he was playing well up until it happened.

He clearly needs some help from somewhere, and that starts by giving him a break from playing, because it isn't helping him.
