Whereas normally the big games and fashionable teams are always on tv and fixtures like the one you have referenced doesn’t tend to be, a I can imagine many of the big games going PPV and those kind of game being on the standard schedule for that reason.

Probably not as I’d have thought the ad revenue and threat of losing subscribers would outweigh taking the greed to that extent.

Being frightfully middle-class we had Premiership Plus back in the day. 40 **** games for £40.

Yeah you’re probably right. From a what’s best in general that’d be good as hopefully the numbers of these bought will be less. As the supporter of a less fashionable team, I feel we’ll be on PPV more which is ****. Streams or get together in groups it is I guess.

This is why I think it should be split between the two clubs that are playing only.

The last normal season Liverpool were on TV 20 times more than Saints meaning our fans would pay 300 quid more over the season, why should they then get a cut out of that?

Many clubs have shown their true colours this year whether furloughing staff, firing mascots whilst spending tens of millions in the window. Sooner the premier league caves in on itself the better.

I'm still not sure how we won that, the result really don't do Oxford justice. I suppose we just took our three chances and held on for the ride.

In answer to that, my guess is by giving him an honour they in their cynicism are thinking he'll go away. I hope he uses it to shout even louder about it and becomes an even bigger thorn in their side.

Surprisingly Twitter has been full of people decrying the honours system today, whilst crying about Rashford getting his well deserved honour. Not that they’re racists or anything.

Give 25% of PL revenue to lower leagues, scrap the League Cup, reduce to PL to 18 teams to avoid pointless fixtures

What's not to like?
