Hard to fault a midfielder covering back in defence for a left back.

He wasn't covering, honestly look at it at half time and you'll see why it was batty at fault, he switched of and wasn't aware of what his man in midfield was doing, by the time he did he was 3yrd behind the play and couldn't catch him. It was very poor from batty
