I hope Southgate doesn't pick Pickford and Maguire for the next competitive games. I'd give Pope and the three centre-halves playing tonight a chance ahead of those two based on their performances in the Prem recently.

Bit like watching an under 23 game...

Very simple that, cracking finish from Coady. Superb delivery from Trippier.

Apparently, Magennis is having a great game against Bosnia, and played a big part in the NI equaliser.

    G'wan Ings!

    Cracking goal!

Wales look like they've given up. They were socially distancing in the box there.

Hopefully giving Southgate something to think about.

For me, you can't drop Grealish or Calvert-Lewin for a start. Have to keep Pope in goal as well. Phillips has had a much better game too than his debut.

Coady is a starter for me at the back too.

Think Saka merited another call up.

He looked nervous at first, but got better as the game went on. Definitely the left back role should be between him and Chilwell.

3-0 England I reckon. Nailed on in fact.

This predictions lark is a lot easier if you post after the game is over. Just saying like.

PS Sweden will do Russia 2-1 too...

You seem pretty confident, personally I reckon there's another goal in it for England.

Saka is going to be massive for England I’m sure. Not sure about Calvin-Philips for England.

I suspect that episode on Harry's holiday has had a deeper effect than most people realise. His form since then has been poor.

A good win for England, always nice to get one over in a home international fixture. Maybe Southgate will have more faith in Grealish after his performance, I can't see how you can leave him out the team now.
