ROI out. NI through.

Shame we won't get the 'derby' but a decent opportunity for NI.

Glad I wasn't the only one interested!
I watched the NI shoot out because of Davis...then switched and caught the winning penalty for Scotland. As long as it isn't at England's expense (which it never is) I love all the home countries to go through. The Republic isn't of such interest, but I regard them as cousins....just behind Wales, NI and Scotland. :)

And his Dad managed Newport during one of our best spells.

Newport IOW I presume
Think I’ve been to the ground back in the 60s with Netley for a Hampshire League game
Netley were big in local football then
Two Hampshire League and two Southampton Senior teams

And we had local rivals Netley Athletic
Bit like Liverpool is these days <laugh>

At least this Saints legend had the decency to score his debut England goal against the Taffs rather than the Jocks !

It is strange that because when Rickie scored both the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov and I jumped about and cheered but last night when Ings scored I looked across at the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov and the look I got back said " Don't you dare cheer or you'll starve for a week" and let us be honest a man has to look after his stomach. One of the pitfalls of living in a multiracial marriage.
