Hull City midfielder Callum Jones has been called up to the Wales U19s’ international camp for their upcoming fixture against England U19s.

The 19 year-old, who has been heavily involved with the first-team squad, made his senior debut for the Tigers in the EFL Trophy match against Leicester City U21s last month.

Following an impressive debut, Jones came off the bench against Gillingham and Leeds United before being rewarded with a start against West Ham United in the Carabao Cup.

The Cymru U19s face England U19s on Tuesday 13th October at St George’s Park in a 12 noon kick-off.

Elsewhere, Josh Magennis has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming Nations League fixtures against Austria and Norway.

The striker has earned 50 caps for Northern Ireland to date, and will hoping to gain two more when facing Austria on the 11th October before travelling to clash with Norway on the 14th October.

James Scott was set to be included in the Scotland U21s’ squad for their upcoming fixtures against Czech Republic and San Marino U21s, but will now sit out those matches after picking up an injury in the Tigers’ victory over Northampton Town.

Shows you how dire the N.i. squad is when Magennis has 50+ caps

    Will they never learn...

Tammy Abraham, Ben Chilwell and Jadon Sancho are set to miss England's game with Wales on Thursday after attending a party on Saturday.

Abraham was stitched up a little with it being a surprise party at his flat that he didn't know about until he walked through the door ( if we believe him ) but if that was the case he should have just left straight away. Also his friends and family should really know better and not have put him in that situation.

If only he had an agent to think through, at great expense, these kind of things....

I find it vaguely nostalgic for our only international call ups being one from NI and a couple of Welsh and Scottish Juniors.

Off topic with him being an ex player but Grosicki captained Poland and bagged a first half hatrick last night.

Possession means bugger all in football though.

Villa had something like 30% against Liverpool the other day, and it definitely didn't affect them.

Bit of a whoosh there, howden. He was alluding to the fact he will have a highly paid agent who is happy to pocket a large amount of money for representing him but doesn't give him any advice on these matters.

I know what he was alluding to, but I still don't get how his agent could advise him not to walk into his own flat and unknowingly straight into a surprise party thrown for him by family and friends that neither him ( and I'm pretty sure his agent ) knew nothing about... Maybe in missing something though

Exactly, it's what you do with the ball whilst you have it.
