Facebook have deleted a tweet from Donald Trump....who reckoned that Covid-19 was not as bad as catching the flu.

Don't you just get a little thought going through you head that you wish Trump ends back in hospital on a ventilator.....okay you just don't wish that on anyone...but the mans arrogance is beyond belief...the people who he has no thought about having to jump at every whim this man has.....surely the world isn't going to be subjected to another 4 years of this oaf.

He's probably got a big share in those drug companies producing supposed cures so he has to do his advertising. I don't wish him well I'm afraid. As far as I'm concerned he can peg it and take Boris with him. They are both idiots.

Is Donald Trump a Russian agent....walking around the White House giving as many staff members Covid-19 as possible.....he is still contagious and he takes off his mask whilst still dealing with staff members....who are unable to stand up to his bullying tactics.....Covid-19 is know worse than flu Americans.....your President has said so......Putin doesn't need sophisticated poisons to derail the so called leaders of the western world......just wind up Trump like a wind up toy and he'll do it for you......maybe we need someone from the National Rifle Association to save the world from this man.

The man is an egotistical moron. It's all very well saying stand up to the virus - that other moron Johnson said something similar - but in the right way. You wouldn't take on a man with a machine gun head on would you?

The worst thing is his complete lack of morals. First we learn he's fiddled his taxes, defrauding the very country whose flag he wraps himself in. Then we see that preserving his own ego by not losing the election is more important to him than yhe safety of the people who work for him.

Maybe Trump feels that he is becoming immortal.....and will catch machine gun bullets in his teeth.....we could all wish hard that he gives it a go.

Mesut Ozil has offered to pay the full salary of Jerry Quy, the Arsenal employee who doubles up as club mascot Gunnersaurus, after learning that he had been made redundant.

Quy, who has worn the dinosaur suit for 27 years, has been let go as a result of Arsenal's cost cutting measures this summer.

Ozil announced yesterday afternoon that he was offering to pay Quy's full wages for as long as he is an Arsenal player.

    Daily Telegraph...07/10/2020.

Now that is generous of Arsenal's highest earner, with his £350,000-a-week contract expiring at the end of the season.

Quy has been made redundant not only as Gunnersaurus but from his other jobs at the club as well.......what a mad world we live in...Quy who obviously multi-tasked at Arsenal gets made redundant....he earns a fraction of what Ozil get it only a week.....

Ozil on the other hand has... earned/been given... £9.1 million since March when he last played football for Arsenal.....the dangers of such high wages is that there is only a hand full of clubs worldwide who could offer him similar wage levels.....assuming that they want him....and he and the likes of Bale refuse to get changed for less... let alone play.

Why pick on Ozil? No.1 they gave him the contract with the wages he gets and No.2 he doesn't have to give any of it to somebody else but has chosen to of his own free will. I could add No.3 that he isn't responsible for the mascot being made redundant or No. 4 the actual pandemic itself. How much does the owner of Arsenal earn in a year?

Is a good deed done by a bad person still a good deed? Let's speak to Edward Colston, a famous philanthropist and merchant from Bristol............

A good deed is a good deed. It is not the same as a bad deed done by the same person. As I said he didn't have to do anything and there are plenty of professional footballers on massive wages who possibly do nothing to assist their fellow man.

I agree although you can't help suspecting Ozil has used this to embarrass a club he's long since left mentally.

He's probably not fit enough to play at the level he is still being paid at ?

Well Arsenal have been a shambles for years, off the pitch and on it, so I have some sympathy with Ozil. He's been left in a position where nobody has been able to make use of his considerable talents. Other clubs would have built a team around him but even though Arteta's got them playing a bit, it's too late to save the relationship.

    England...2-1...Belgium...F/T.

How did we beat the No1 team in the world with some of our best players on the bench.....the first half was suggesting a thrashing...did we bore them to death....or something ?

No we won. There is such a thing as just being happy with a result. Here is a simple explanation as to the England victory. We scored two and they only scored one. Looks can be deceptive where thrashings are concerned.

Just as well for Southgate having left Jack Grealish out after a fine performance for the "B" team on Thursday.

Maybe but he is vindicated by the final score. All a team can do is win as is the same with a Manager. Sometimes it will be convincing and exciting to watch and sometimes it won't but when all the dust settles it is the points that count and not much else.

I see that Mesut Ozil has been paid an £8million loyalty bonus by Arsenal in September....although he hasn't played since March.
