We had one - Famewo (?)No For me we need a young developing player. We need another Godfrey, not another Klose.

https://footballleaguefc.com/norwich-city-2019-20-player-wages/I very much doubt he was on that when we were in the PL and certainly not now. Where has this information come from ?
Interesting table.
Ryan is only 30 yrs old.No For me we need a young developing player. We need another Godfrey, not another Klose.
I would rather use our youth conveyor belt than bring anyone new in .We had one - Famewo (?)
That's last year though. Weren't they getting their wages halved after relegation?Interesting table.
Well worth a look
Even if they do have a relegation clause, after Naismith I certainly hope so at £25 k or half salary there won't be many lining up to take Drmic off our hands .That's last year though. Weren't they getting their wages halved after relegation?
Virgil van Dijk is 29.
You can't get better than Virgil.
You don't play against extreme pace in this league.
Experience is what you need
Ronaldo is 35 and still pretty good , I wouldn't particularly want to sign a 35 year old striker either .I'd take Van Dijk. But Bennett ain't no Van Dijk.
Ryan Bennett, anyone...?
A 1 year Bosman could work, Basel looking at KloseWhy not ? Knows the club, has experience and is (atm) fit. If Klose goes our CB options are Gibson, Zimbo and a half fit Hoadley. I definitely think we need experienced back-up and Ryben would fit that bill.

Yes, I believe so. After today's deadline (5 pm BST in Germany), clubs can only sign free agents not registered to any club.
If we spend 10% of what we sold Godfrey for we could probably pick someone up .For me it's never good to go back & anyway I'd want someone who's going to increase in value.
Phil Hoadly - now there's a blast from the past, but he must be getting on now.Why not ? Knows the club, has experience and is (atm) fit. If Klose goes our CB options are Gibson, Zimbo and a half fit Hoadley. I definitely think we need experienced back-up and Ryben would fit that bill.
You are correct about Switzerland Rick, my apologies; their window closes on 12th October. Turkey, on the other hand, is in line with the likes of Germany, closing today. (FIFA has a complete list of dates for every FIFA member country.)That does not apply to Switzerland (Klose could be returning to Basel and Drmic is Swiss) or other countries like Turkey I think (where Trybull has been linked)..
Agreed , but we aint spending £60M on Bennett.I'd take Van Dijk. But Bennett ain't no Van Dijk.
