Anyone else enjoying the Premier League this season? It appears to have gone completely crazy. I bet tonight Liverpool fans were getting ready to berate United for conceding 6 and then - whoops! I'm not always a huge fan of the league, but I'm happy to be a convert if it carries on like this for the rest of the season.

Just saw the scorelines. What with Man City and Chelsea having lost as well this season its shaping up nicely.

Better than the predictability of the last few seasons.
Nice to see plenty of goals.

Some alternative action as well. Lamela and Martial bitch slap each other, Lamela goes down like he'd been punched by Mike Tyson and Martial sees red. Then Luke Shaw callously slices down Moura and only gets a yellow. Really little comparison between the 2 events. The first 2 just handbags, worth a yellow each, but Shaw's challenge could have been a leg breaker.

Then Luiz, last defender, tugs back the Blades' attacker and only gets a yellow.

Overall football good but officiating so inconsistent and poor.

It's certainly been entertaining and lovely to see some of the "biggest and best" being absolutely humiliated by much more "humble" opponents (if you can call teams that still spend tens of millions on individual players during a supposed cash crisis within the game humble that is).

I'm not sure how long the madness can continue though. At some point the "world class" defenders will actually remember what their jobs are supposed to be.

Always assuming they are actually world class or perhaps their deficiencies have been identified and played on.

Watched some of the Man U mauling and all of the Scouser's humiliation - what a relief to see things like that happen in a League that has become so predictable over recent years.

As Carragher said after the game last night, it would be such a delight to see the Prem be far more competitive this season rather than a one or two horse race that it's been recently. I agree that some of the big guns should get their act together before long, but Ancelotti has got off to a flyer and could cause havoc amongst the established hierarchy.

As it's gone so far, there looks to be a big shake up in the pecking order but that could change. Not surprised to see Fulham propping up the table though - I don't think they've learned a thing since they came down with us last time - they look all fur coat and no knickers to me.

The only thing that doesn’t surprise me is the bottom 4. Burnley are due a poor season and surely can’t always survive on their style of play.

ps Fulham ‘pointless’. Bit like Richard Osman then <laugh>

Early stages yet, but it looks to me that the trap door three will come from the current bottom 4 - I can't see anyone else being sucked down into it.

From what I've seen so far I'll make a prediction at the other end of the table. Brighton under Potter to definitely finish top 8, even go as far as to say top 6.

Looking bad for the Blades now. Bad case of second season syndrome? I think we'll be playing them next season if we stay up.

And Bobby Reid has put Fulham a goal up against Liverpool.

Arsenal lost at home again to lowly Burnley! We hated losing yesterday but it’s happening to so many teams! :emoticon-0103-cool: ACTIVE MAN underpants for sale, ideal for the larger man...some used condition!

Indeed worrying times for Arsenal. They have a 101 year continuous run in the top flight and to see that run at at risk shows just how crazy this season is.

A lot of gunners were glad to see Wenger go.

Lots of cases where teams and fans have perhaps needed to be more careful about what they wished for.

Either the "top top" clubs demanding they continue to challenge and win trophies or other clubs thinking they are stagnating and should be pushing on as their manager has taken them as far as they can/clearly isn't good enough for their club.

Arsenal, bored of just qualifying for the Champions League and distraught at missing out 1 year whilst having to put up with "only" an FA Cup Winners here and there under Wenger ...

Chelsea, not content with winning the Champions League in dull style under Di-Matteo.

    Man Utd discontent with Moyes

Stoke stagnating in mid-table under Pulis.

Forest, Derby and Watford all going through Lord knows how many managers.

    Everton courting then regretting Silva.

So easy to be impatient or not appreciate what you have and pay the price in the end.
