No, but he will get a big sympathy vote. The Americans love a good sympathy story.... Two term Trump. What a time to get it. But agree I wish him and his wife well.
I care just as much about him as he would me if the situation was reversed, i.e not at all. It would be hypocritical of me to pretend otherwise. He is obese, never exercises, is well into his seventies, and has a disgraceful diet apparently. He has mocked and obstructed attempts to control the virus by his own government countless times. Little bit of Schadenfreude at play. He might get it bad, he’s an index of risk factors, whatever his official health report says. His core followers don’t believe the virus is a thing, and resent all attempts to manage it. They will be genuinely confused if he ends up really ill, and will doubtless blame the democrats/Chinese/whoever. They also despise the weak and ill, so might not be so enamoured of a knackered candidate. Mind, I suppose they could have infected all the democrats at that debate, and Biden looks on his last legs anyway.
As harsh as it sounds, I'm struggling to wish Trump well. I honestly am not really bothered about him. His mrs on the other hand....well....
I hope trump gets better because his vice president is apparently a bigger **** than he is If trump dies all the no longer voting republicans will vote
In other news, Stanley Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn and Margaret Ferrier have each been fined £10,000 for breaching restrictions.
I've been struggling with this one, I'm far from a fan and yet don't wish death on anyone, but I really can't disagree with any of that. We can try and be nice about things but yeah you are spot on
Just you wait in 2 weeks or so. A few sob stories and "Ive been there and beaten it" A couple of tears to camera three... a good angle for the face and he's ratings will go through the roof. America loves a hero. Biden won't be able to use the Covid debate now?
