Three times yesterday on the news the BBC described the Trump supporting Proud boys as white supremacists.

This is Enrique Tarrio the Proud Boys leader.

And we pay for this impartial journalism.

Possibly because we pay for them to be as impartial as they can and not follow lemming style!!

Absolutely correct we pay for the BBC, so it should be impartial, diverse and honest.

Yesterday Lineker spent a lot of the day basically goading his new boss Tim Davie over the BBC's new twitter rules for it's employees. Bringing the BBC into disrepute should be enough to be able to sack such employees.

I am seriously considering whether or not I continue with my licence fee, the only programme I have religiously watched is Mortimor and Whitehouse gone fishing + the odd BBC4 music programme, the rest especially the pap that the BBC describe as comedy is not worth the fee.

Cliftonville every time the BBC or Lineker gets mentioned

Impartial doesn't mean blinkered though.

The BBC used to be impartial and when it was it was the best in the world, the level of complaint (many of which are upheld) shows how far the BBC has sunk.

Nobody is asking the BBC to be blinkered, most people are asking for impartiality, it comes to something when what masquerades as BBC comedy somebody can make jokes about 'killing whitey' on a programme hosted by probably the most un PR comedian in the UK and still be on air.

Impartial would be mentioning that Enrique Tarrio is an afro cuban for instance.

That's because he is highly paid by money from our licence fee and he has a duty not to bring the BBC into disrepute and publicly goading your boss does just that and is arrogance beyond belief.

The BBC is different to a newspaper, you can buy it or read a newspaper online that's your choice, by paying your licence fee, people are entitled for the BBC to be impartial and have something for everybody and the BBC does not tick that particular box anymore.

A black guy leading a White Supremacist group?

someone’s having a laugh - about a very serious subject!!!

He's not black he's classed as Latino, Increasingly, Latinos are identifying racially as white. In fact, more than half did so in the 2010 U.S. Census.

Oops - I stand corrected. Sincere apologies to any Black or Latino - or even white people I may have offended.
I should have said ‘Non-white’
My bad :(

So what you're saying is that it's possible the BBC are actually in fact correct? I'm sure some will have something to say about that :emoticon-0140-rofl:

"In February 2018, the Proud Boys amended their rules. Prohibition against cargo shorts, use of opioids and crystal meth. The article states restrictions were not placed on cocaine. The masturbation policy was modified to read: "no heterosexual brother of the Fraternity shall masturbate more than one time in any calendar month".

That last bit must have scuppered a few applications from this board....<laugh><laugh>
