Some of the moderation tasks were taken away after various mods abused them to cause damage the site.

A lot of the mods now, have been mods for a long time. Elected by club boards, but installed at my discretion, albeit with the exception of a few, most mods no longer have the capability to damage the site.

That's a mod related story too.

Sunderland site RTG had a mod change, everyone was getting into trouble banned and stuff so they migrated here. Gordon and Smug just run it as a little kingdom and were thankful for the new serfs.

You have a good set of mods, they debate and argue things on your behalf very well. I hasten to add, if they don't agree with me they really do say so. They are very clear about their thoughts. Hence I respect them, even if I don't always agree with them and visa versa.
