Has he said Gillingham are a tough team yet, and play a way which we need to deal with?’or does that come in the post match interview?. Looking forward to 4 years down the line and he’s telling us Boreham Wood are a good team and have given us a difficult game.
I know stats are meaningless like possession , and they don’t always win games . But at half time in Sunderland game it was 10 attempts to 2 , could basically have been the stats from any post lockdown game . Unless you have the most clinical finishers in the world, doesn’t take a brain surgeon to realise you are not going to win many games unless you change something .
I really can't make up my mind whether to watch the game or not. Usually, I'm really looking forward to the first game of the season, but at the moment I just can't muster up much enthusiasm.
Come on City, just get into em. Close them down every second of the game and steal goals whenever the opportunities arise. Get three points!
I know what you mean. I know because of last season we've lost faith in McCann but think at times Burns was definitely trying to be awkward for the sake of it. McCann says we're aiming for automatic, so Burns says 'aren't you putting pressure on yourself?' If McCann had said we're just hoping we do ok, Burns would have said 'aren't you lacking ambition?'
If McCann believes KLP to be a 'special talent' then surely L1 is a stage that he'll shine on? It has to be time to give him a run in the team, especially as our need for a player who can score goals has rarely been greater.
The first professional football match I ever attended was at Priestfield (long story), so I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for the Gills and know a couple of fans. They still love Tom Eaves and are disappointed they can’t be there to see him today.
So, streaming wise, I take it that tigerstv is no more (all the web pages are 404 not found) and we have to sign up to ifollow now? I’m swithering because I’m already paying the club £60 per month for us to watch the team, with no word in what we are actually going to get for that money. no local radio commentary so I feel blackmailed into paying for a stream. If the relationship between owners and fans were better, I’d be happy to support the club financially, but it feels like I’m just financing Ehabs next vanity plate.
If that photo is Alfie Jones, I think he looks a lot like Peter Halmosi, might just be the long hair though.
Elsewhere... Jon Toral starts in the centre of midfield for Birmingham. Ballsy. Ex-Tigers David Stockdale and Ryan Tafazolli on the bench for Wycombe, Angus McDonald also on the bench for Rotherham.
Judging from his pre-match interview, I don't think McCan't can even convince himself that we're in for a decent season let alone anyone else.
