Nancy Pelosi, who as US House speaker heads the body that would have to ratify any US-UK trade agreement, said as much on Thursday: if Britain unpicks the Irish border accord, there’ll be no trade deal with the US. Baffled, she asked: “How can they walk away from an international agreement? How do you trust that?”

Looks like they won't be able to get the Bill through the Lords.

Boris just needed to get it done. To keep his vote on board. Boris didnt really give a **** about the detail of the agreement, never has, never will. He probably wiped his arse with it caught short in a tunnel on the way home. But he got it done. No problem, other than the annoyance of his once Brexit Secratary Barclay reading the thing and contradicting him on the NIreland stuff, he'd got it done. No problem now either, the Courts can argue, but he's done Brexit. If his support decide they want something else instead, like sticking 2 fingers up to Covid , he'll get that "done" too, no problem. Still got 4 more years hasn't he, and by then he'll have infected everything.

Behave bob. It was probably Trump that helped Boris make this decision. If you are going to bring up Pelosi at least understand what is really happening.

Democrats have the majority in the House, not Trump.

Pelosi and the Democrats could block any US trade deal if Johnson's shameful bill gets passed.

Really Ellers, it's as if you don't know what's going on.
