Transfers - what do we still need

So Parky has said he wants 1-2 more. I know its the standard thing for fans to want more, but what do we actually need? The only place I think we actually need somebody is LWB - other than that it should be a focus on getting the absolute right player rather than signings for signings sake. Perhaps some more promising players not counting towards salary cap.

CB - I think we are covered

RWB - I think we are covered, but would love it if somebody wanted to sign McLaughlin so we could replace him

LWB - Could do with a backup or first choice here. Although could Diamond cover here?

CM - I still think we could do with one in here, something a bit different. Although I can't see it happening.

Wings / Attack Mid - I originally wanted one more in here, but I think we should only do so if the right player comes up. I'd like to see Diamond, Neil and Embleton get game time and arguably they're already 4th, 5th and 6th in line for 2 positions here.

Strikers - I'd like a pacy one but again not sure it's essential. Do you really need 4 strikers for 1 position? And we already have O'Brien who can play here. Personally I'd want Wyke out and a replacement in but I can't see that happening.

It's hard to say now really, as numbers wise we're pretty much covered. Not a lot of real quality we could bring in now anyway with the salary cap. I bet we're about near the limit.

We really need LWB cover. Garbutt is still possible i think. Many players in same position as him - waiting for 'right contract'. He will need to make a decision anytime now, otherwise there will be no clubs left who want him.

Fraser clearly got lucky and got a big contract, for his level. Who the hell would want to play for MK Dons tho. Scowen and Power can get us goals from CM.

Think a striker and I’d be happy, definitely an option needed to bring pace off the bench and switch to 2 out and out strikers of/when needed. Maybe it could be Kimpioka but not sure if he’s definitely staying due to the contract situation.

I'm genuinely happy with the squad for this level. Havnt said that for a while. Maybe a quality number 10 role who can play behind the 2 strikers ( assuming its 5 3 2 formation)

I'd say we deffo need cover/competition for Denver unless Parky thinks Diamond is up to it. Apart from that I think we're pretty much covered although it seems we're after another attacking player with having the bid in for the Argintinian lad. And even though we have three strikers, one of them is Wyke so having another that can play the wide positions an all is going to be a bonus.

Yeah, we probably do have enough bodies it’s just that I’m not too impressed with half of them. If we were getting beat and want to push the last 20 mins to turn the game, I’m not sure chucking on a Grigg or Wyke is going to have too much impact. Like you say, maybe someone needs to be shipped out before we get anyone else on that position.

I might be a bit old school but I have always thought a team with a genuine box to box midfielder looks more balanced. Lots of sides now seem to have a 5 and 5 mentality but if one of your central midfielders can genuinely play box to box it can make a big difference when you attack and then when you get countered. Robson or Viera would do nicely...
