Certainly more testing but the number of tests has levelled off and still the cases grow. Wouldnt put it past our gov to make it harder to get a test so that the cases start dropping again. Re the hospitalisations and deaths, is it possible the mask wearing is also having an effect? Supposed to greatly reduce the viral load, presumably then leading to milder cases?

Certainly not as it leads us through history, things everyone should know before making up his/her mind.Besides, I am anti-flu-vaccination myself but do for instance recommend menengitis vaccination. Your life seems to black or white but that is just not the truth. Truth is that you have to get yourself informed about the pros & cons. Never forget, there is a lot of money involved.
I don't think that I see things in black and white - at any rate I don't regard everyone who doesn't agree with my ideas 100% as being stupid , in the way that you do yourself. I can understand anyone not wanting vaccination under some circumstances - I have never had a flu vaccine, but I do accept tetanus ones. That is not the issue here - if you want to avoid vaccination then that is your concern. I can also understand why people are getting irritated about the lockdown - and how many people's livelihoods are being put on the line by this. I do not like having to wear a mask for longer periods - it's a sacrifice I make out of respect for others. How long I will remain content to do so if the virus continues to mutate into a milder form I don't know. But this irritation (which I think most people share) is a million miles away from a conspiracy theory which would involve the complicit cooperation of every government and health authority on this planet - something which is, quite simply, not possible. Your ideas about a hidden elite waiting to take over the planet prey on people's current insecurities - it is, of course true, that international free market monopoly capitalism has eroded the sovereignty of the nation state, and that because our democratic systems were built on the nation state democracy itself feels under threat. Quite simply nations no longer have the resources to fully execute the wishes of their electorates.
There are a lot of factors at work, but until hospitalisations and deaths start to increase dramatically, I don't believe there is any cause for concern.
The Illuminati theory ( and it's new equivalent ..the 10 foot lizard men...and now the great reset) has been around for centuries. Why do you (and others) keeping hinting out to David Icke. The links I attached had nothing got to do with Icke apart from the fact that they came from his Telegram channel. I do follow all sorts of information which does not necessarily mean that I share their views. Apart from that I had linked a lot of official stuff from the WEF and many more different sites that are very far away from "conspiracy". My message though is that the p(l)andemic was fabricated long time ago to cover up the financial meltdown which has been ignited now but would have happened anyway. In Germany (Menden) they have set up storage facilities for quarantine breakers as a "precaution". The new Concentration Camps. Jens Spahn (German Minister of Health) has openly announced that even a vaccination will not change the current status. Does anyone believe that only Australia & Germany are transforming into a police state ?
Menden in Sauerland ? I haven't heard about this plan but it makes perfect sense - all societies in the past have tried to separate diseased (or possibly diseased) people from the rest of the population. This has nothing to do with being a 'police state' it's a reasonable precaution. Even in normal times try getting off any ship which is placed in quarantine and see what happens !
Do you remember Tönnies ? They even closed down the complete factory (2700 people were involved) and NOONE got ill. Apart from that we to be precise once more again. Someone who is tested positive is not directly infected. Being infected does not automatically means one got ill. The so called Covid-19 death toll is very low (9325 today for Germany). The measures you are describing as "sensible" have never been taken before. What we have learned so far is that this virus is no more deadly than any other flu in recent years. Jens Spahn has also openly said the measures that had been taken (lockdown) were wrong ! Don´t you believe the Minister in charge anymore ?
I could go further and say that if someone comes back from a high risk area and refuses to abide by quarantine rules, and is, presumably, running also around without a mask, that I do not want them coming close to either myself or my family - society has a right to protect itself in cases like this. I presume it never occurred to you that it is because of people like yourself that we still have this problem on our hands.
These 'measures' have been used throughout history in similar cases Butthuber, which you know well enough. The word quarantine comes from the Venetian word 'qurantena' (meaning of 40 days) and was first used in sea ports in the middle ages - in cases of doubt it has always been standard practice.
The PCR test is not validated so it is just lottery. So you force people into 14 days quarantine (now they want to reduce it to 5 days - why, what has changed ?) based on a unvalidated test. You are totally wrong. In 2017/2018 there were 3 times the people that died year in a very short period (3 months) and nothing happened. No measures were taken and noone talked about it - just statistics.
