Mash looks good but needs more butter and pepper seasoning or maybe it’s just the picture quality

Was thinking that, if you can't see black flecks of pepper it can't have been season right!

    The gravy looks the business.

Could do without that middle todger phallus thing pointing right at us but looks good on he whole.

I use white pepper in mash so you won't see it, you are spot on with the butter though.

You've just eaten bad mash all your life, do it right and it's amazing.

Most likely. One of my most hated foods is parsnip, my mum loves parsnip. When I was a kid she used to mash it up and hide it in mash so I would eat it. Ever since I can’t eat mash as I don’t trust it.

My mum used to do spag bol when I was kid and I'd pick all the mushrooms out. which used to annoy her a lot. Then she stopped putting mushrooms in the bol, years after that we was chatting about foods we don't like with my then gf, I said I don't eat mushrooms, then my mum drops the bomb that she never took them out she just diced em up into tiny bits<laugh>. Sneaky cow but now I eat mushrooms :emoticon-0148-yes:

Didn’t work for me, I still hate parsnip and just added mash potato to my will not eat list.

My grandma was Brazilian and there is a home video of her spending ages prepping some fish to feed me when I was a baby. She grew up near the sea and loved sea food and was generally a very good cook. She spends ages making this fish all excited for me to have my first ever taste of fish. She shoves a spoon of this **** into my mouth and I pretty much instantly throw up all over her. I hate all sea food now, my family have a lot to answer for

Can add aubergine and lamb to the list for me but think that’s it.

    Olives are great
