Anyway, my team has Hull at home on the opening day, next Saturday, what a one to start. Will have to stick my tenner in I-Follow to see that.

I was quite disappointed with Sheffield United's final finish, I honestly expected them to break into the top five. Sheff Utd v Leeds end of Sept, I'd fancy watching on TV. Could be telling, how far Leeds have come.

Reckon they've had certainly been top 6/7 If it weren't for lockdown, though I suppose that doesn't really matter now. Be interesting to see how they do this season.

Heard you won in the cup today. Draw tomorrow, who do you want?

Shame it’s early season mate, as you could have arranged a meet with Saxton <laugh>

I don't think Leeds in ther slightest are anything like Norwich. Bielsa will see to that, he's South American ffs. Long has they don't fook about with any players he wants or mess with his team from above.

I'm quite looking forward to them in the Prem, one of the most exciting prospects of a manager to be promoted for a long time to the Prem. Some fans will probably see it like the Revie days returning, who can blame them, it's been a long wait.

Will be interesting. Leeds are hard running from what I have seen. Wonder how that goes when up against better footballing sides and teams setup To do a Leeds, press and be better?

Norwich had a shocking defence the year they won promotion whereas Sheff Utd were much better organised.

Just saying.
No argument there. I said before a ball was kicked that they’d sieve too many goals to survive in the PL.

Sheffield U were brilliantly drilled and organised and did great until lockdown. I think you lot will come and have a go though, stand toe to toe with sides and see what happens. I’m intrigued tbh.

Yeah nice result for us, apart from Ryan Jackson getting sent off, dickhead! That means he will miss the opening game I assume.

Don't the big boys come in the 2nd round of this....not sure who I fancy, because if it's a 'big' team, they would probably only send their kids down. Maybe someone like Palace or even Spurs, if Mourinho made the trip over.

All bar those in Europe, so top 6 & Arsenal aren't in it but everyone else is.

Think there's still a North/South split in round two though they're also drawing the third round tomorrow I think.

It's a huge leap from the Championship to the Prem ... Sheff United and Wolves both did brilliantly in their first season but for most it's really tough ... we pissed the Championship but looked doomed until the 'great escape' the next season ... and we had Esteban Cambiasso ...

Wow, you had Cambiasso and still struggled in the Prem. Hard to believe isn't it <whistle>

When you see the names in L1 this season, it should be a tough league.

Sunderland, Hull, Wigan, Ipswich, with the added bonus for us of Charlton

Then the Swine (Swindon) H&S and the old bill will be crawling all over that one.

Along with the likes of Pompey and one of my personal favourite fixtures Wimbledon, apart from going to there place, fook that, pain in the arse.

Been a few big-ish clubs in that league over the past decade or so mate. Was an interesting league the two years we were there.

Saw it was our former ginger ninja with the winner too. Noticed Christian Maghoma plays for you now as well.
