Tour de France... drink in the last 20km which is a big no no apparently. No idea who was involved but I did see it on the news and the Englishman took the yellow jersey?

Quite correct Fez. Julian Alaphilippe was wearing the yellow jersey when 18 kms from the finish one of his team on the side of the road gave him a bottle of water, which as you say is not allowed after the 20 kms to go mark has been passed. He was given a 20 second time penalty which was enough for him to lose the jersey and it was handed on to Adam Yates who still holds it.
