Surely this can’t be true? Quite amazing if so considering how hard running a team they are.
If they have asthma then they can have meds to enhance their lung capacity. Funny that considering how much fitter they are than everybody else <laugh>

Their ‘drinks man’ is a German who won his first Olympic medal at 42.

Many doping schemes go undetected. Everybody is at it, look at the change in Ronaldo’s physique. Barca admitted giving Messi growth hormone.

Interesting. I’d imagine fully legal as well. Unless they can somehow prove false diagnosis, which I’d imagine is covered under patient confidentiality.

Ronaldo’s physique was all Ronaldo mind, watch the film about him see how he eats and trains, that’s pure human will to be great that one.

I think I read somewhere that a club doctor can diagnose a player when he’s in a pressure chamber. I guess that’s the loophole.

Not a doubt in my mind about Ronaldo’s determination and work ethic. He’s obsessed. I have to say that his body seemed to bulk within a few months of arriving at Madrid. I’d guess he’s had a little bit of ‘help’ with that.

I think of you look at Ronaldo last year at United he was already sizing up, I’ve seen personally how much you can change your body during lockdown I bought a bit training gear for the house and my shape is almost unrecognisable.

Im 40 this year, i eat a lot of heavy food, drink and smoke.

I think as well, when I lived in Spain, you naturally eat at times of the day that are better for your metabolism. I’m not ruling out him using some kind of Kickstarter, but if you look at the definition on Ronaldo that’s heavily genetic, a lot of folk could train every day and use ‘help’ and not get there.

Isn’t this a cycling thing as well? They use the steroids as enhancements!!
Salbutamol. If you take it when you haven’t got asthma it will open up your lungs allowing more oxygen into the blood stream. That enhances stamina and bursts of speed, apparently.

Definitely. My missus is asthmatic and I’ve used hers when running. Makes a big big difference!! (Purely fir science!!)
