The stadium wouldn’t go for more than £15m, but a very long lease would be far easier to sort and I’m sure the Council would love to renegotiate the lease.

Building a stadium station less than a mile and a half from Paragon isn’t remotely viable, or necessary.

Weren't they quoted something like £4 million just for a platform when it was first brought up years ago?

I do remember years ago that they they looked at the viability of a ‘KC Halt’, I can’t remember any of the numbers, but I remember it was a ridiculous cost for the benefit it provided.
A couple of double deckers with a mini-bar installed to trundle from Paragon Station up Anlaby Road would work - a hell of a lot cheaper.
That's League 1 for you :emoticon-0100-smile

Illegal for football fans, may be ok for the rugby ones though.
Where's the cultural entrepreneurial spirit these days. Could be disguised as a tourist exploration of the bowels of West Hull - with a subtle drop off point close to the Boulevard. Over the bridge - Bob's your uncle.

I thought I was being a little generous with my £30m ha

You totally missed my point in the original post. Read it again.
I know you was saying the lines hinder expansion around the ground, I don't need to read it again you patronising arse. I was making a fresh point that it could be made to good use and then you started spouting about home fans. I'm bored of you now so I'll end it there.

I never mentioned the lines hindering expansion around the ground. So I suggest you do read it again. You appear to be lacking in comprehension skills. And anyone suggesting that things be used to make things better for away fans to help them arrive in numbers and outsing the home fans is being rather silly. Why would Hull trains run specials for away fans to get to Hull when they do not run specials from their own city to enable our fans to travel away?
