According to this article, 22 of the 35 players in Liverpool's squad are asthmatic – five times the UK average. That's quite extraordinary, isn't it?

Exercise Induced Asthma isn’t really the same as the Asthma that most people suffer from, so not really comparable.

A university did a study on the British Swimming Team and found that 70% of them suffered from EIA while competing, some weren’t even aware of it until the study was done.

Discovered less than a year ago I had asthma.
Everyone blamed 60 years of smoking !
Now I know it was related to exerting myself on a football pitch at the age of 60 + I feel a lot better.
