And this is why Surrey choose to bowl. Winning the toss is huge when there's rain around in t20.

Obviously if the game doesn't resume they Surrey batting second becomes irrelevant. But if we do manage to get a resumption, any D/L target (once we've batted for at least another two overs first) will always be in the favour of the side batting second.

Watching Northants on sky I have to say that opening partnership has to be admired. As a man carrying a bit of timber its great to see two big lads making it look like pub cricket.
