    IMO play the long game (figuratively) keeping AA is as good as an Prem quality xfer/signing. If we can afford it, I’d keep him. Feeling fairly buoyant with the signings so far, credit to the scouts n club backing the manager.

    Two facilities for a Club of our size was never going to sustain itself, just glad the money went back into the pockets of the sellouts ,hope it chokes them

    Im not sure I agree with the twitterati- reportedly £10m for him so I’d take it. The unwritten rule about selling to competitors only applies if the subject is a game changer IMO

    Everton have agreed a deal with Watford for midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure that could be worth up to £25m. So expect we may get a firm offer from Watford for Grimes.

    I didn't see enough of John to really form an opinion but going forward as a wing back I thought he was ok. I think McKay's problem is that he is indeed ****e!! and lazy which is worse.
