    Alcantaras on Merseyside
Everton chasing Rafinha could boost the Liverpool pursuit of Thiago – after all, they are brothers.
If Everton were to land the Barcelona playmaker then we could see our own Alcantara target more likely to try and force through a move to Liverpool.
Settling into a new city in a new country is never easy but it is easier if your brother is there – them joining at the same time would also help Thiago transition to life in Liverpool.

One out, one in...similar fee...Thiago will be incoming now I guess.

I expect one of Shaq or Origi to move on if Sarr is to come in.

    Last year of his contract?

Shame to lose him, but it does look like his heads been turned by Koeman.

Hmm still not convinced any of this is true tbh.

Replacing Origi with Sarr I'm all for that.

Gini for Thiago, sure I'm happy with that, I would've preferred to have both really and let gini go on a free next year but I see why if they can get a fee now.

    Still need a cb.

Gini is a loss for me. He’s a big part of why we’ve got to where we are so I also don’t want to see him leave.

Sarr would also keep Mane happy....so a double whammy so to speak. Werner would have been my preferred buy but it looks like he priced himself out of a move to us....this would be pretty much confirmed if we buy Sarr.

I do hope that Klopp isn’t thinking about using Fab as the 4th CB.....we need 4 bonafide CB’s. Matip is always injured and Gomez is blowing hot and cold atm.

So after pulling out of the Werner deal... if we don't sign Thiago and he goes to a prem rival do I start getting pissed off with fsg?

I believe we need to sell at least one of the foreign lads due to our homegrown quota being full before any move for thiago can be made so perhaps there's something to the gini to Barca rumour.

    Just ****ing sign someone :bandit:

Sorry what? How did Werner price himself out of a move? Liverpool chose not to pay his release fee.

You’re patently working to a sell to buy strategy.

Be a shame if Gini left. Been a really good player last few years, very underrated and does an important job. However don’t think he’s irreplaceable and if it’s him out and Thiago in then would take that tbh.

Helped us win a lot Of trophies last couple years and a move to Barca doesn’t come round often even in their current predicament.

Gini is an unsing hero. When he is on it, he is very effective. Would be a big loss imo.
