Used to in last place, full of newts, my lad was ninja like the way he caught them, lot of dragon flies in summer and once had a stoat sniff around but was disappointed when he realised we had no fish. They're nice but can be a lot of work if you want to keep fish,easy enough to look after if you like to keep it natural and attract the local wildlife.
I used to have a nice pond...About 4ft deep to try and avoid any frost..Over 10ft x 4. but in a curved feaure.
A real pain in the arse..UV etc. But had some great Koi.
At my last place,my neighbour had similar to you, must have been pissing about with it, a couple of hours a day, 3 days a week. Not for me
All the time, cleaning filters etc....A lot of work....
I had some Koi for years.....2 Ghost Koi, i named Undertaker and Kane....I got them small, and they thrived.
My mate used to keep Koi in his garden pond in Tottenham. He invited me over to sit in his garden, feed the fish, and catch some rays. I asked why he needed nets over the pond, was it for the local cats? He said, wait and see. A few minutes later, a white flash shot past my ear, over the pond and away before I could tell what it was. My mate pissed himself, before telling me it was a heron; there's a colony of them over the River Lea. Seems they dive at the sight of the fish, see the nets at the last second, and pull away just in time.
Ponds are great, but a whole lot of work. A Heron would decimate a pond in no time without nets.
morning glory is a good plant to grow, you can turn the seeds into an LSD precursor that'll trip you out. They put a coating that makes you sick on shop bought ones to stop it.
Sucky defo tried the old scratch n sniff on the wife’s undies there bro. You should know better, the site is full of pervs.
Herb garden now mental ... aromas are lovely ...

The Mrs wants garland lights so will put those up.
Bird feeder in the middle and then a couple of clematis to go with the honeysuckle to climb up the thing.
Bit of future proofing this as my neighbour is 96.
Who knows who will move in when she gone, don't need some random goons gurning at me over the fence.

Did they? I could never keep up lol but that's all in the past now.
Looks good that mate, you do the whole fence or the top bits? I've done **** all with my garden for months, just cba plus it's cold and wet now so deffo cba

Bought some good lights for Christmas, under £10 10 metres long and battery operated outdoor lights got a timer and remote.
No, need one myself, got one of those projectors and the new lights for the back and Mrs luv head bought some cheesy looking things for the front.
