I don't often agree with you Godders, but well said
I can't take the credit for something I didn't write but I agree with every word of Kaito's post. I might have written something like that myself but I am trying to be non political and give Boris a chance after all he has been doing his best.
UK gets the lowest approval rating on its handling of the pandemic from its own citizens of 14 democracies polled:

Yep. That sums it up all right! But aren’t they still polling at 40% in the “who would you vote for” polls?
This country is broken beyond belief if they are.
Please don’t Godders. That sentence in blue is the exact same one that one of the lads in my group says all the time.
drives me insane
Just tell them that the problem is that his best just isn't good enough.
You can imagine the committee meeting when they appointed Abbott. " Go on I dare you, it'll be a right hoot". Probably like when they chose Widdicombe for Come Dancing. By February we will all be eating kangaroo steaks washed down with tubes of Fosters.Looks like Johnson might be employing this guy, who was a disaster in Australia.

What worries me about this brinkmanship like approach to negotiating leaving the EU is that if we close off our waters to the French fishermen the we can expect all the French channel ports to be blockaded by their boats. That will hit our food supplies hard. Better get ready to starve if you don't stockpile PDQ.
Mind you it is premature to judge dear old Boris's competence as Prime Minister at the moment, give the bloke a chance FFS he and the Cabinet are doing their very best. God bless them.
