Under Ancelotti Napoli were

One season about 4 years ago? Just get suspicious of these players that never get a move to one of the top top clubs. Been so many of them over the years that are talked about but never really get the move and have to wonder what the scouts and managers see that puts them off making a move.

Celtic are interested in Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi, according to the Daily Star.
The Scottish champions are eyeing up a move for the 23-year-old Nigerian who would cost around £9million

where they actually challenging just because they finished 2nd. Don’t think anyone would suggest city were in the title race last season despite being second.

They weren't that far away..........

15/16...........2nd 9 pts. behind Juve
16/17...........3rd 1 pt. behind Roma, 5 pts. behind Juve
17/18...........2nd 4 pts. behind Juve
18/19...........2nd 8 pts. behind Juve

16/17 and 17/18 look like genuine challenges for the title. I don't follow Serie A that closely to remember

Rechecking the managerial record Sarri was responsible for most of that prior to Ancelottis arrival

Not all good players can be in a title-winning side though, can they? Napoli are hardly mugs.
Whenever I've seen Koulibaly play he's looked very assured and capable, and I've been quite impressed.
However, it's only a handful of games and if you watched him week in week out you might see something different. As with all defenders, it's how few mistakes you make that sets you apart.

Liverpool have accepted a bid from Reading for midfielder Ovie Ejaria, Football Insider can reveal.
The 22-year-old is set to join the Championship outfit permanently following two successful loan spells at the club.

I do agree it just makes me wonder when no big club has come in for him yet despite being 29, is he really all that
